These don't seem to match my 42 of the pictures I have looked at for 1946-48.  What are they for?  Thx.

Are the 42 Plymouth and the 42 Dodge door handles identical? If they are,I can compare those photos with the door handles on my 42 Dodge tomorrow and let you know.

They don't look right. The 42s from both dodge and plymouth should have a rectangle piece to continue the belt moulding. These would be a more stand alone type of handle.

no, not really...they are excellent for upgrading your P15 if you are of a notion....will require a tad of modification and co-mingling...easy to do...the modification is also easy to assemble and disassemble if the need ever came up..unlikely need to go back into it.. but doable..

I would have been interested in them about 10yrs ago......had the Dodge parked outside the shop, early morning and I'm sweeping the footpath(sidewalk to you guys) and a moron in a Toyota Landcruiser backs into the space between my car and the one beside it on the Oz passenger side and proceeds to hit both outside door handles breaking them off and scraping some paint on both doors.......after I gave him an enema with the broom handle I calmed down......lol......but the 2 best, nicest handles I had were broken, got a quote for new ones to be made at $400 each but a mate with a 37 Ford showed me the handles for his car which had a similar raised ribs to those that JCMiller has shown above and match the 4 raised ribs on the cars front to rear moldings.......and were available as nice, shiny, unworn repo' s at a much cheaper, $30.00 each price that the insurance company liked even more, ie, $120.00 for 4 plus postage.........they fitted fine so it has them and apart from you guys now, no ones the wiser..........so Plymouthy.......what are they off?..............andyd
