Anybody know what font was used to create the Dodge script on the 48-52 hubcaps?

Back in that era it almost certainly would have been created by hand by an expert illustrator/artist/typographer and while perhaps based on other typography of the time is most likely unique.

Like license plates, the fonts are usually custom design. Have no idea what it looks like, but can you take a picture and manipulate it in a graphics program?

just a thought:  do a tracing of a hubcap with a piece of paper and a #2 pencil, to get the artwork from the semi-sphere to a flat surface...that can be scanned into a PC for scaling, reproduction, etc.  :cool:
