Hello everyone, I just bought over the course of this year, a 1937 Dodge 1.5 Ton Flatbed, a 1938 Plymouth Commercial Car, and a 1939 1.5 Ton flatbed.  I would like to say "hi" to everyone, and I will definitely need help with these 1930's truck interchange information.  I am experienced in restoring trucks from the 1940's and up.

I do see that these earlier trucks will be a bit more challenging to find parts for and such.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of informed people here willing to share knowledge. We also love pictures and would really enjoy seeing some of the vehicles you purchased in the last year.

My 1939 was just delivered to the bottom of my hill. I started it up and drive it to my slab with the lift on it. I will try to get photos of it tomorrow. It has a 228 in it with a 4 speed. It is unique with knee action shocks on it. A real treat to know that it runs and drives... It was a challenge because the brakes do not work. To my surprise, it compression brakes very well. When I bought it, the guy said he can turn it over, but it doesn't run. Then he decided to get it running, so he could drive it onto his truck hauler. I am so surprised... And amazed... This really makes up for some of my previous disappointed purchases from my past. He is such a great guy, he didn't ask for a penny more than our original agreed price. Sorry for ranting here guys... I am just estatic!

Thank you guys, I am using my phone and sent the last reply prematurely. And I will do my best to keep up here.

Thanks again, I feel that I should have come here sooner.
