I don't think I've got it set up correctly. For one thing my battery charger is only 12 volt so I set it at 5 amps, then I used a swimming pool alkaline treatment which is 100% sodium bicarbonate, and left it on all night. Not pleased with the result. Will get some baking soda today.

The pics are before after results.

yeah..grab them by the head and scrub..the scaly areas that their little claws cannot seem to remove..turn them around and use their little teeth for more bite..save a couple for polishing the metal by applying Mothers polish on their fur...

works for me...!

My tank is pretty rusty inside. I've used apple cider vinegar to de-rust quite a few parts and it works great but I always have to brush those de-rusted parts to remove the black residue that forms before I get down to nice shiny steel. It would be impossible to remove that black residue from inside the tank if I use vinegar. Anyone know what happens to the gas if I just ignore the black stuff. Would the fuel filter catch it? Has anyone tried the vinegar approach? Any problems?
