Late Autumn Ride Thru the Hood in a D24

Since we are only a handful of days away from the application of "Brine" and Rocksalt on the roads around here I`ve been trying to get out in the coupe every chance I get. Once they start applying those metal eating wonder products the Dodge goes down for the long Winter`s Sleep.

Very nice. Hopefully a few more runs yet. I am in the same mode with my cars and drive them every day I can as I know that winter (aka s****Y) weather is just around the corner and my cars will be parked for quite a while. I hope the guys who can drive all year round appreciate what they have and never let their cars sit for long. I have known guys in the car club I belong to who find any excuse not to drive their cars like it needs an inspection, insurance is too much, gas is costly, etc. I say drive them whenever you can or get rid of them and let someone else enjoy them on the road! To me owning an old car and not driving it is senseless.

Thanks for the ride seeing all the fall changes in the trees and all. Love the look of the country roads and especially the

radio playing. Is that a radio or is it a modern CD player that is playing? I sure would love to go on a trip up the northern states in the fall in one of my two 48 Plymouth's. Old cars and scenery like that just seems to go together you know.

Larry that was a rubber-coated black colored bluetooth wireless speaker that sits on my dash playing pandora off of an android phone. I go between pandora and i-heart radio. Can be seen in the photo below on the right side of the dash.

Thanks for the ride Linus6948. The change of colors are absolutely beautiful.

I sure hope that "rolling stop" doesn't get you into any trouble with the local PD

Wishing you many more outings before your weather/road conditions become more severe.
