I've got 28 degrees here at noon with an expected high of 38, maybe.  some patches of grass showing and I suppose there's robins about but I haven't seen any yet.  We had a couple of days where the temps got to the upper 40's and where the snow wasn't too deep is where the grass is showing.  Brother is probably planting his garden about now.  ( lives in S Carolina) and generally has about a 2 month jump on us.

We had quite the thaw in the past week. We are supposed to get some significant snow tues into wed and possibly again Friday. On the plus side I did find this in the street last sunday. Snap on 3/8 drive 8" wobble extension. Already cleaned up and added to my toolbox.
