mrwrstory Posted June 17, 2014 Report Posted June 17, 2014 Someone said "deadly". I'd say "killer". Especially like your rear bumper/license treatment. Keep the pics coming. Quote
scotty t Posted June 17, 2014 Author Report Posted June 17, 2014 i should have the car home in a couple weeks. i only hope i can continue the quality of workmanship that my buddy Jon has done with the metal work. did i mention that he is in his early twenties?can you imagine what his skills will be like when he's been doing this for another twenty or thirty years? when i get it home i'll take more pics of the engine compartment, it's a work of art! now if i could just get Niel to come over and help i might get this thing going someday! 1 Quote

bobjob55 Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 I'm glad too see that there are getting to be a lot of these cars out there that have been modified .... but I hate to see someone cut a really nice stocker ... Quote
scotty t Posted July 16, 2014 Author Report Posted July 16, 2014 (edited) here are the latest up date pics. so far every thing fits and looks great when assembled, i couldn't be happier with the steering. take a close look at the inner fenders, they were cut to fit the HEMI heads , but the modification looks stock. scotty t Posted July 17, 2014 Author Report Posted July 17, 2014 (edited) Real nice work, You've got talent there for sure. Looking forward to more progress pictures. My main talent was taking my car to a highly skilled young man who has a lot of talent!! My job was to decide what I wanted done and scrounge for parts and work a lot of overtime to pay him. I will pass tha compliment along to him. Edited July 17, 2014 by scotty t 2 Quote
scotty t Posted March 25, 2015 Author Report Posted March 25, 2015 (edited) finally some progress! the 354 is off to the machine shop and the body is off the frame. just a basic rebuild on the hemi, isky cam, .030 bore, the usual stuff. i have never had an old car as solid as this one, the floor still has about 50% of the original paint left on it no holes at all. the frame is nice too, the type of rust that almost wipes off. the frame gets a little more welding to finish it up then paint and re-assembly, the body gets some eastwood chassis black then back on the frame. the mill should be back by then. i hope to be driving this thing in early summer. i can only hope that i can continue the quality of work that my buddy Jon has done.
