Don Jordan Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 I've been cleaning out my garage and have run across many miscellaneous parts. I thought I'd try to get rid of some. I have a duel intake manifold. It has Shanafelt stamped on it. I can't remember why I didn't put it on (I think it's for 2 bbl carbs). Anyway I was wondering what something like that might go for? I'll try to get a picture later. thanks, d- Quote
oldodge41 Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 I have heard of Shanafelt but never seen one. That appears to be a 2x2 intake. Two carbs x 2 venturi (barrels) each. Very cool in my opinion, but I would never have an engine that could use that much fuel flow. Price? J have no clue, sorry. Quote
Young Ed Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 I would think that it would bring a few 100 bucks on ebay. If you're setting an outright price 250? Quote
greg g Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 Is it for a short block or long block? I have seen similar gut different brands go for 500 to 800 on auction sites. Never heard of that company which adds to its "rareness" It seems to want 2 ford type Stromberg carbs 94/97. If you don;t need the money, I would clean it up and place it somewhere for garage art. If you need the bucks I would not let it go cheap. New Offy's are going from several suppliers in the 300 dollar neighborhood. An oldie from an obscure maker should be worth 2X that at least and since it for 2 X 2bbl maybe a bit more. Quote
Don Jordan Posted January 12, 2013 Author Report Posted January 12, 2013 Thank you - that gives me a bench mark. Then again Garage Art is also an option. I could make a lamp out of it. Quote
M Shanafelt Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 Do you still have it? Bill Shanafelt was my great uncle and I would love to get my hands on some of his work... He built in his garage... Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 Pretty rare MoPar manifold. I wonder 23" or 25" engine. Quote
