Ed Griffin Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Could someone please send me in the direction of a forum for 47 to 53 Chevy trucks? Years can vary as long as it covers 1950 Chevy 1/2 tons. I apologize for asking a non Mopar question but I respect many opinions from this forum and know there has to be others who have a GM product they are also involved with. I know I can search google etc. but I'm looking for a forum that has, like this forum, people looking to help others and are knowledgeable as those are here. It's been a couple if not more years since I visited any forum for these trucks and have lost any links I may have had to those I used to visit. I have several questions in waiting and do not want to bug those who enjoy nothing but Mopars with them. Thanks for any ideas, suggestions and or links! Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Joe Flanagan just finished an early Chev truck..hopefully he has some links and forums to share...you need to get that puppy finished and get back on the Dodge... Quote
Young Ed Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Blueskies and Rodney have trucks in that range too. Perhaps some PMs would get you going. As Pete(Blueskies) sold his plymouth I don't think he checks in that much anymore. Quote
wallytoo Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 stovebolt.com back when i had a '46 1-ton dump, i used to be on that forum. should still be around. wally Quote

Ed Griffin Posted December 17, 2012 Author Report Posted December 17, 2012 I just wanted to thank everyone for the suggestions you gave. Yes Tim, I do need to finish this puppy so I can get back on the Dodge. I do miss driving the car. Much more than driving the truck but the truck is a lot closer to hitting the road than my car.
