JIPJOBXX Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 (edited) This was posted on my facebook page this morning Lance Lambert I got a call this morning from my good car buddy Bud Worley. He called to say that yesterday a mutual friend's son responded to an ad on Craigslist for a car for sale and made arrangements to meet the seller at a public place. When he got there the "seller" (four guys with guns) robbed him of a large amount of money, a cell phone and his watch. Be careful out there. Lance Lambert He said the thieves were smart enough to suggest a "public" location where there were no cameras present. Yep I think I would met at our Local credit union or something like that. I'm always a little bit nervous when selling on Craigs list as you never can tell who will show up! . Edited September 20, 2012 by JIPJOBXX Quote
TodFitch Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 The parking lot of the local sheriff's substation might be a good place for the transaction. Quote
John Reddie Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 Great suggestion Tod. Any potential buyer that objects to that can keep on going. John R Quote
