these would go real well on the forward look forum as that is the era car these are for...nice caps..but about a decade off..as these are repopped today..are these original or knockoffs..

Tim, I would say judging by the knight's head in the center, they are

originals. Often the knockoffs had crossed flags in the center. Just

my assessment.

Nope......56s were a totally different style cap.

I think they used the ones pictured in 57 and 58.

ebay ads list both years as 14".

Then went to those big tall ones in 59.

Randroid,I have to agree with you.I realize that those in sales never miss an opportunity to put in a plug for their wares,that's business I suppose.On a chat line or in social setting, I believe it is somewhat uncouth,(myopinion)...If someone has a product to sell, they should use the classifieds.

But, no intro and a sales pitch only - not so cool.

There are times when a mention of some thing for sale as part of a

thread in order to help out someone on their project is ok. But the

seller usually asks the potential buyer to talk via a PM.
