Adrian41D-19 Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 hello! first, i apologize for my bad english, i'm french if this picture of my temp gauge can help you, it my 41 dodge cloub coupe, in summer, in trafic driving, cities etc... the indicator is on the 5th marker on the gauge, on the high ways, the marker is between 160 and the 5th marker in winter or cool days, the indicator stay in 160 and in trafic between 160 ans the 5th marker. i live in Bordeaux in france and the temp on this location in summer is around 90° and 110° for the highest when the car is cold, the indicator is on the 100° marker, summer, winter, rain days, all whether. it's my only experience with this kind of temp sensor unit and it work very well 1 Quote

It looks like the old Frence racing color blue. i purchase this car in saint louis, missouri last year! i import it in france by myself. i find it on ebay motors. i'm the 4th owner, the car is selling new in detroit, the firt owner wrking at a dodge dealer. the 2nd owner buy it $100 in 1963 and move on to missoula, montana and sell it in 2007 at the 3rd owner in saint louis and i buy it $6000 in last september is original color is seaplane blue, this blue is an old paint job maybe repainted in the late 60's i think (i nave some letters from the 1st owner to the 2nd, talking about the car for a while after the 1st sale in 1963, i have letters until 1965) Quote
