What's your oil of choice for you Mopar? I usually use Valvoline Conventional 5W-30, just as my grandpa did with the car, and a Fram spin-on type oil filter. It was converted years ago, but I still have the original assembly.

With that being said...do you think it would be OK to use a bottle of STP Oil Additive? Or maybe Lucas? I have used STP several times, on other cars and I love it. One of which, was my girlfriend's/her dad's 1995 Crown Victoria that had a bad oil leak, and it really slowed it down. Just asking since it's an old motor. It was rebuilt in the late 1980's.

Gee, sorry that I have a life outside of this forum and don't get on much and see EVERY thread posted...

:(

Just delete the topic if you wish, then.

By using the forum search you can see only the threads that are of interest to you and still have that outside life.

well, guess if they looked in their book first there would be fewer questions also...but alas few do one or the other..the new guy/poster is not getting shunned, no way whatsoever..however everyone should also recongize the fact that an answer can be very time comsuming for one to type every time the subject comes up..no one here to my knowledge has ever chastized anyone for using the search and asking for further clarification etc etc..
