New thread location

New guy already asking! When clicking on a thread, why is the original thread at the end of the posts and not at the beginning like other forums. Do I need to set something different? Ken:confused:

Check the Control Panel (UserCP in the grey header above). There are several options how you want to view the forum. I have mine set so that the original is at the top and I scroll down to the more recent posts.

Yeah I had to alter the settings as well when I joined. I found it very annoying with the threads set up like that.

I clicked on the User cp,and every option after and can't see how to get the original post on the top?

Look for thread display options under edit options.

I frequent the H.A.M.B. forum and this one is set up the same way as they are on my computer.

Thanks Merle and Don. Got it covered. To make it clear to anyone else:

(1) Click on User CP top left grey toolbar

(2) Click on Edit Options under Settings and Options

(3) Scroll all the way down to Thresd Display Options

(4) Go down to Thread Display Mode and click in box "Linear - Oldest First

You can also just click on the today's posts after you select the quick links tool.

This is the only forum I visit, I didn't know there were other ways to view message threads - so to me, all the other sites would be backwards .
