I took my '48 Dodge D25 out to a spot I like to go to take pictures. I use this spot as I can rest my camera on a fence post to get the pictures. I recently posted some pictures of my three flatties taken from this spot but the one of my '48 was before the repaint so I have updated it. First picture shows the car before repainting and the rest taken yesterday. I want to get my rims pinstriped as I think this is a nice finishing touch and I started a separate thread on this. Anyway the pics.......................

Before repaint - car was a perfect example of a 20 to 30 footer

Nope, don't mind. However, I actually prefer the colour photograph which shows the summer colours nicely. We get enough brown in the winter....grass, trees, etc. all turn brown along with the winter white. Ugh, don't even like thinking about it.

The car looks like brand new, Robert...nicely done.

There is an fellow in Okotoks who does some very nice hand pinstriping. I can send you the contact info if you like.

That's a very pretty car, Robert. If I look too long at those photos I might start thinking repaint.

I particularly like the fourth picture (3rd recent) from the high angle. It seems 99% of car pix are taken with the camera 60-70" above ground level and that gets boring fast and too often means distracting and/or cluttered backgrounds.

You are also further from the car and had to zoom in a bit which gives, in my opinion, a better photo than up close with the resultant wide-angle distortion.

I put the fourth picture on my screen. Love the wheat in the background. VERY VERY NICE!. :)

Seeing these pitcures reminds me why I am hooked on this hobby. These old cars are meant to be driven not just looked at. :)
