NiftyFifty Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Cool truck...little pricey for whats there, but these PH's seem to gain value every year. Quote
desoto1939 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 The nice part about the truck it was used by a Mopar dealer. And if someone buys the truck they should keep the original dealerships information onthe truck. and also get as much data onthe dealership as possible. Did you notice that they still had the Autolite Bulls-eye headlights onthe truck. These are vary rare now and also very expensive if you find them in the swap meets. Could be a nice restoration piece. Rich Hartung Quote
raidmagic Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 That's really cool, good thing it is so far away from me. I'm not temped to go buy it. Quote
50farmtruck Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 Love that front bumper. That thing would look right at home on a push truck at Bonneville. Bryan Quote

Young Ed Posted November 17, 2011 Author Report Posted November 17, 2011 Ok fill us in. Plans? What area of town are you in? I live just outside of NE minneapolis. We'll have to get together sometime. Quote
rust ton Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 I picked it up for $600 it runs like a top very quite. It needs a gas tank, so I'm going to fab one out of a beer keg and put it in the bed. Needs a battery box and breaks looked at. I'm not very confident in the split wheels as one broke in half before we got it on the trailer. My major goal right now is to drive it to back to the fifties. I'm part of a small car club called All In My Garage (.com), and this is my first real project other than daly drivers. Quote
rust ton Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 (edited) I'm in Lexington near Blaine. would like to invite you to a car club garage night when i host one some time this winter. Got to get some heat in the garage first. I'm 30 and have 4 kids, so i don't get the most garage time but enjoy it when i do. Edited November 17, 2011 by rust ton Quote
ggdad1951 Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 I too hope to have mine at the 50's this year, most likely won't be 100% complete, we'll have to meet up. Quote
greg g Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 You gotta get an old tire, and cut the tread portion off it and than bolt the strip across the face of the lower bumper. Quote
rust ton Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 Then i can really hit some stuff Quote

If you need anything let me know. I've got people. Brake and equipment warehouse in NE mpls is a great place to go for anything you need for the brakes. I'm a couple weeks away from kid #1 so this winter might be a little hectic but I'll try to sneak away. Maybe Mark can come kidnap me....... Edited November 17, 2011 by Young Ed Quote
