my son laughs at all my old stuff...pops just not with it..even my old Sanyo cell phone with no whiz bangs attached..but I ask him one thing..where are his 20 odd whiz bangs phones he has gone through..I am still amazed I carry the phone as much as I do..

bad part about my stereo set up is my Pioneer RT707 reel to reel is having motor control probs..have not bothered to disconnect it for a look see..I have plenty of music on reels..most of the time my systemis idle..rarely I even pipe the soundtrack of the DVD though it..another one of those things that folks get involved in and slowly lose interest in..

Lee I'm feeling a little cheated. Having been to your place and not shown your cool landmark. I almost said without being taken out back to the shed but I don't think we want to go down that road...........
As Paul Lind would say---oh you great big silly you!!!

vinyl..Joe...tell me it IS true..a real audiophyle..I bet it has been years since I spun a vinyl on my Pioneer turntable..most of my records are no newer than 1976 or there abouts..but all have been handled by the edges and have been washed a number of time..no one in the family but myself has handled these platters..
Tim, I have been restoring jukeboxes for 30 years and there is nothin like listening to old 45s---I got about 7500 old 45s along with a few jukes left---old stuff is cool!!!:D

I got a lot of favorite pics and this is only a few.

First two are a couple I "borrowed" off the internet. Gotta love those wing cars.

My two sons with my first hot rod, a 1958 Garton. Yes, I still have it.

A few years later, same kids, the youngest in the Hondah and the oldest in the Neon doing some autocrossing.

My oldest again in the ACR Neon, getting a little air under the right rear.

One of my old wrecks back when we had to shoo the dinosaurs off the track before we raced.

Hey I recognize Charlies kart track. I held the old stock record ther for 3 years in my Mazda Rx 4. That was with the old track configuration. Used to run my bug eye there also.

Yea, this was a couple years before they updated the track. We used to have a ball with it, but when they started running their pizza shop, weekends were out. It was no fun going by myself, so I sold the Neon.

Here's a photo of a circumstance that earned me a dollar. The boss (the little woman)and I were strolling along the beach near Anchor Bay,Ca. and came upon this sight. She (the boss)was sure it was a weather vane. I knew it was a buzzard (turkey vulcher) warming up for the day..... so I bet her a dollar it wasn't no weather van. When it took to the air I was a dollar richer but 1 step closer to the dog house.

.:o Sometimes being right isn't worth a measly dollar.

Can you see the scared look on my face and the smirk on hers as she hands over the dollar bill ?

Is I in trouble again:eek:

I love jukeboxes. As a kid we used to go to a cousins house for christmas every year and my sister would try our hardest to wear out the spanish flee 45 in his wurlitzer
