After a long winters nap I got my truck out of storage today. Hooked the battery back up and hit the gas 4-5 times and turned it over. Pumped about that many times again and she was running.

I didn't post a picture as it looks the same as it did when I put it away :)

And actually I didn't even drive it home. I was driving Dads 51 ply convert while one of my friends drove my pickup and Dads neighbor drove the 66 wagon home. So we got lots of toys out of storage today.

She be ready for Hastings---yahooo!!!:D

I think the more important question is-is hastings ready for us?

Glad you got your pickup back. The longest non-use of mine was the first two weeks of February when we were in Australia. Got over 3500 miles on it already. New window channels and insulation in the doors, etc.

Ready for Hastings, N. St Paul, and maybe Mopars in the Park.

Paul I believe thats about equal to how many miles I've put on mine since I got it almost 11 years ago.

They say that's what happens if you play country music backwards. You get your truck back, your dog comes back to life, and your momma gets out of jail. :D

Whats the date on that? Maybe a few of us could meet that day.............Lee

June 4-5, I believe. I may make it to a Hastings ride too as I see they have them on Saturday. For some reason I thought that was a Friday event:confused:

May-June will be busy for me as we are plumbing the cabin. But I could try and make it. I've talked about going the last 2-3 summers and it seems to be a nasty rainy weekend everytime.

Hastings is every other saturday night all summer long. Its a great time.

Looks like you stored yours in the fairgrounds also? Mine was in the home improvement building this year.

Just noticed all the green grass and trees in this photo. Obviously it wasn't taken this year.

Guess i´m really spoiled by getting to keep the one car I have in the

attached garage at home. I can go out and look at it and start it

occasionally. Next thing is going to be replacing the carb as the

present one seems to have a crack in the housing. Bought a couple

used ones a few days ago from an area old parts dealer that willl

need rebuilding.

My neighbor said that it must be spring, Dennis brought his truck home

I got that from my neighbor also when I had my car in the driveway and out of the garage for the first time this year.

Nope, I stored it in my neighbors barn and she fired right up. Photo was taken a year or so ago for a collection of states that Bob Koch wanted for a calendar, guess I was the only one with a state theme.

By the way, Mopars in the Park is June 4-5

and new this year is a car auction.
