48P15Annie Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Ah, yes. Have seen those many a time. Never knew the name though. Thanks, Greg. Quote
RobertKB Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 I don't like any kind of seafood and now I have added paint jobs with scallops! LOL Quote
48mirage Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Not a Plymouth and not a 4 door. http://s262.photobucket.com/albums/ii86/jacobsheir/Toys/?action=view¤t=AsSold.jpg Quote
greg g Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 I believe that dodge used to belong to a memeber here. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 I think the owner's handle is Finnish Fireball.....on the HAMB. Quote
greg g Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 I was referring to the Primered or faded red one withthe black highlights. I beleive the yellow one is an offshore deal and the the Fireball posted the pic but I don not think its his car. Quote
=PlyPals= Posted October 31, 2010 Author Report Posted October 31, 2010 for as far as I can see, and hear... the P15 body lines aren't the best for scallops... lesson learned :-D Quote
Fireball Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 The yellow Dodge is my car as it was when it arrived from States years back Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Hello Fireball. How's the car doing now? Didn't you change the color, I can't recall due to old age and such. Quote
Fireball Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Shelbizzy, the seller was not honest I was told rustfree. BobT heres the current form Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 That really looks good. Nice work, Fireball. What front bumper did you use? Quote
Frank Elder Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 I'm glad you kept the belt line trim and rockers, they help define the shape of the car. Quote
Fireball Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Bob that's '50 Mercury bumper and I agree with Frankie, although I did some shaving but I also thought removing all of it would be too much Quote
Frank Elder Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Look at Bob's new 50's thread for a p15 tastefully done with scallops. Quote
=PlyPals= Posted November 17, 2010 Author Report Posted November 17, 2010 Finally... the lowering job is done! +/- 4" in the back (thanks to the new leaf springs) and a 1 1/2 coil cut in the front. And a member of the club took the liberty to pinstripe it. I must say, I think the result is golden! See for yourself! (not yet attached are the fender skirts and hub caps...) Quote
49 Dodge Dude Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 There be junk in dat trunk! Quote
