JBNeal Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 I've seen a Chevrolet version of one of these (in a photograph), complete with the roof rack & visor...I'm thinking it's a limousine or school bus up-fitted as a limo. Quote
JoelOkie Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 This one and one more will be two for me. Looks like a shuttle rig, or touring bus. Great picture. Quote
greg g Posted July 18, 2010 Author Report Posted July 18, 2010 (edited) Same company, different paint on a different manufacturer's chassis. Says the bodies were built by Denning in Australia, aparently still in business. Edited July 18, 2010 by greg g Quote

MBF Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 I could live in one of those! The Mrs would probably have a different idea about that though. That is a sharp looking vehicle. Mike Quote
Tony WestOZ Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 Posted on a thread on the HAMB from Australia. Says it might be a Desoto. It`s a Desoto. Trucks in Australia carried the Dodge, Fargo and Desoto name from 48 to 57. I would not mind one, it looks great. I do believe Denning`s are still making busses. Quote
greg g Posted July 19, 2010 Author Report Posted July 19, 2010 So you would gather all your mates and Shielas and trundle out for a walkabout???? Quote
lugnut123 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 i seen a pierce arrow bus kinda like that. It had doors down both sides and was about a ton and a half truck frame. It was down on route 66 in new mexico in a farmers lot. Quote
