Fireball Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 The biggest Hot Rod mag in Finland has been frequently asking for a story of my ride since it was orange two years ago. I told them to wait when it's ready, and now it more or less is so today the pics were taken. I had the opportunity to chose the location near my house, and here are some shots I took myself while the pros were doing their stuff. I thought I should share with you guys since many here love pics. I tried to be as "artsy" as possible but I know nothing of shooting good photos. It'll be fun when the mag is published to see how different the pro photos will look at same location ***continues*** Quote

Fireball Posted July 17, 2010 Author Report Posted July 17, 2010 Thanks for the comments! My boys are five and eight and have to wait a while for license, but they own two stroke crossbike already and ride it daily. I wish they keep the interest on this hobby instead of ballet or so. I have some build threads here for those interested. They have a vertical hook that just ties the skirt to lip in fender when tightened. Quote
plyman 50 Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Your car looks great, your efforts really paid off. Interior looks real nice. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Great shots of the car. Congrats on the magazine spread. Hope to see it when it comes out. Quote
Fireball Posted July 17, 2010 Author Report Posted July 17, 2010 Great shots of the car. Congrats on the magazine spread. Hope tosee it when it comes out. You surely will Bob, I'll scan the story here when they publish it. The mag only comes out ten times a year so it may take time. The photographer just called me that his pics were good, and he just waits to get my story. He also sent me the Family portrait he took, this one will NOT be published in the mag Quote
rockable Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 I just reviewed your threads, Fireball. You have really done a great job! I love the marbelized interior effect and the incorporation of the V-6/AX15 is neat. I'm getting ready to do a SB Mopar (360) and AX15, so I'll likely be asking questions when I get to that stage. What did you end up with as a radiator? Quote
1947PLEVY Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Fireball: Beautiful car..How long did it take you to do the job? Quote
Fireball Posted July 17, 2010 Author Report Posted July 17, 2010 rockable, feel free to ask I'll help if I can. Radiator is stock (rebuilt) with electric fan and non pressurized cap. No heat problems whatsoever. PLEVY it took me around 18 months, mainly weekend activity. I didn't count the hours though. Quote
Flatie46 Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Good luck with the photo shoot, the car speaks for it's self. Any quality magaizine should be proud to have it. Quote
