  1. It has a Fat Man front stub with 2" dropped spindles. The rear has 3" lowering blocks on ESPO springs. Also has (I think) 195/70 front tires and 225/70 rears.
  2. Thanks, Everyone! I got a lot of help here, at the HAMB, at FABO and all my local friends. It takes a village when you're building a car you've never built before.
  3. Sorry, but I don't. I have a friend who is looking for one of those bumpers, too. ?
  4. Rather than reposting all this, I will just post my link to the HAMB. I really appreciate the help I received from you guys! https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/finished-my-41-plymouth.1140466/#post-12963394
  5. The same one as used on the side and top? What do you do about the drains on the bottom? Looks like it should use some sort of sweep type seal to me but I could be wrong.
  6. Can anyone tell me what kind of seal goes on the bottom of the doors of my P12 Business Coupe? A picture would be awesome. It doesn't appear to me that the same seal that goes around the top and sides would work well. Thanks for your help.
  7. I installed this one in my 41 and found it worked best glued into the trough in the trunk lid. I did glue the bottom seal to the body but it might work fine glued to the trunk lid. https://www.steelerubber.com/sponge-rubber-rectangular-70-1105-99
  8. Well, it won't let me load more but it's looking great. The 40 Desoto Bumper looks really good with the custom filler panels I made.
  9. Ok. I've been working , off and on, on my 41 and am almost done. Here are some pics. Please let me know if you have any lower inner fender pieces that will fit this car. (Classified ad bought and posted.) Between my painter and me, we lost the ones I had and I really dont want to make them from scratch.
  10. What kind of seal is used to seal the bottom of the door in my P12 Coupe? Does anyone know of a source or a substitute? Anybody got pictures? Thanks for your help!
  11. I put a Fatman clip under mine. It really will drive better , looks neater and frees up space. I started, out trying to use the OE front end but gave up on it because I want to drive my car on long trips. I have proven positive experience with MII front ends.
  12. I installed a Fatman stub on my 41. I tacked it up, reassembled the front end sheet metal and decided I wanted the wheels 3/4" further back. So, I disassembled it and cut 3/4" off and welded it all up. Don't have its on the road yet but I'm sure it will work well. Sure does free up space for engine and exhaust.
  13. No one knows if the wheels actually turn?
  14. Ouch. 1941 Plymouth P12 Special business coupe. My bad.
  15. 2 Questions. Can someone one point me to some detailed pictures of the glass run and fuzzy channels installed on a business coupe with vent windows? I need to see how they are supposed to look. Do the wheels on the door glass actually roll? I installed a well lubed NOS door glass channel assembly without glass and the wheels just slide in the track. I have a box full of "flat spotted" wheels which leads me to belive this is just a crappy design. Thanks for your help.
  16. $177/pr. delivered. I have used parts for sale.
  17. Thanks for the tip on regulator Roy! He has NOS bottom window channel assemblies!
  18. I already did that and got more junky rollers. Thanks.
  19. Thanks! This looks like it stands a good shot!
  20. I'm finally reassembling my 41 P12 and am looking for parts. Does anyone know of a source for the rollers and springs that go on the door glass frames? I have a bunch of old ones but most of them are "flat spotted" and I only have 2 of the front springs and one is not great. I would like to replace all these, if possible. Thanks!
