Cooper,

What gentler eye,

What nobler heart,

Doth warm the winter's day

Than the true-blue orb

And the oaken core

Of beloved Old Dog Trey?

(Walt Kelly, ca. 1953)

Just as true today as it was in 1953

Cooper is MOST welcome. Do you realize that he owns that car and allows you to use it?

I will be chuckling for several days .

Niel,

Oh yes, I think he might think he owns the Plymouth and lets me drive it. After I put it on him, I asked him if he wanted to go for a ride, he went to the door and once we were outside, right to the Plymouth. Today was the last day of school, so we picked up my wife at school in the Plymouth with Cooper wearing his gift. You should have seen the look on Patty's face and the smile she had. "PRICELESS"

Shatze...I don't know how really supposed to spell sweetheart in german, ask FRED...but Cooper looks good!!

:D it's always fun to see how other people think we're talking here... tee-hee.

you mean "Schatz", which could be best translated as "treasure". personally i think it's a strange word...

cooper's a real dandy, you should watch the odometer and check if he's not cruising around and picking up girls in his fancy ride while you're not watching!

Nothin' wrong with dogs.......just while ago I was out in the garage....the

scotty dog from down the block came wandering in......and ate the dry

cat food left in the bowl. He seemed to enjoy it.

A few years ago, Mary Ann had a mixed breed shaggy little dog.....real

cute when she put a red bandanna around his neck. He was known as

"Joe Earl, the singing cowdog".
