randroid Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Michael, Since the first two answers to your questions were pretty well covered I won't attempt to muddle the situation by suggesting another guess but I would prefer to answer by asking a question of you; Why in the name of the kingdom of P15-D24 do you have a large albeit clean slice on your thumb and you're still not wrenching on your own car? Are you really required to give your firm so many hours you simply don't have the time to do it? It can't be that your mechanic knows more about them than you for we've already heard some horror stories about that clown, and after the time you been a part of this forum I would guess you know more than you think you know and all you need is to be shown (or told by a real mechanic when you do it for the first time) how to do something and I'd bet you'll be secure enough in your ability by the time the job is done that you could do it again. I hope this doesn't sound like a sermon; I see somebody new to this hobby who could use a nudge, that's all. -Randy Quote

Frankie..for some reason I thought Chili Verde was just the name of a small town in a spagetti western...search on Tab Hunter and Lainie Kazan...this is not a movie recommendation by any means..slightly racy/lotsa corn.. but was funny as can be I thought... Joe Flanagan Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 You too, Mackster? I should have known. Ha ha. And now I have to ask: Have you seen "Polyester?" Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 "Lust in the Dust" one thing for sure..its a tad change of pace from Mary Poppins...and just where on that map is the treasure marked?...I own a copy of this film....can you say classic? Quote
mackster Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 You too, Mackster? I should have known. Ha ha. And now I have to ask: Have you seen "Polyester?" I plead the fifth! or should I say the filth??? Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 So if I said the name Francine Fishpaw, you would chuckle to yourself? You too, Tim? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 John Candy I believe modeled a couple of his characters after this person, "Armed and Dangerous" and "Who's Harry Crumb"...and in the latter, our girl Shanee Smith at her peak...! she seems to have aged fast, probably tanning beds etc.. JerseyHarold Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 So if I said the name Francine Fishpaw, you would chuckle to yourself? Francine was truly 'Divine'. And what do you think of when you hear the song 'How Much Is That Doggie In The Window'??? Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 I think of the reason I had to draw the line at "Pink Flamingos." Quote
