And here's one in Grass Valley in '08.

You don't suppose all the money he collected in previous years went into the restoration.

Interesting that the two other photos dont show that stainless. I wonder how they drive with a straight axle front sus and ind rear suspension?

I have to take that back. They have a unique rear suspension. Its got drive axles like IRS but then has an I beam axle like the front underneath it.

I think your right Ed, I remember in Bunn's book a few pictures showing an IRS. I'll have to look again, I know I saw it somewhere.

I really like the two tone and the stainless around the base of the windshield. I want one.

I think those are good colors together on that truck. As we have seen, two tone paints are not always pleasing to the eye.

Only the heavier 1-1/2 ton "EU" series 5 lug route vans had the IRS rear suspesion. The "DU" 6 lug 1 ton route vans just had the regular rear Dodge 1 ton rear axle-non IRS.

Finding parts for a rare model with very few in the boneyards has got to test your patience and make you wonder if maybe you should have started with a little more popular model.
