he has a heck of an inventory..NOS out the butt...he figures he only has to find the one guy going for max points and he has a sale..and I am sure it works to his advantage most of the time..like everyone out there..we would like to get the most for stuff we sell..we don't like paying max for the stuff we buy..so we sit and wait till we luck upon what we need for the price we want to pay..it was that way for the blue dots I had been looking for over 2 years..not but a couple set have hit the market in any given year..I got mine for less than 1/2 of what a set just sold for one week earlier..

e-bay is the perfect setup for seller and the guy who has to have it now..

I have met and traded with the Frank from Georgia..he is trying to make a living..if people wish to pay his price he is surely not going to deny them the opportunity..he does have some very nice rare items and he is getting premo for these it appears..its as simple as this..don't like the price..don't pay..not defending or accusing..just the way this hobby goes..

I didn't notice the first time but the 763 phone number means he's in the minneapolis area. Certainly not the Georgia seller

His profile says he's from Elk River, Mn. That's not too far from you Ed.. Maybe you could save me a little on shipping, just go pick them up for me..It'd be a great present Ed..I have a few lug nuts I'd trade you for them...Remember you have my vote for P.O.C. Prez...

I saw that on his other auctions. Weird the skirts just says midwest. I work close to Elk River. I'd be happy to go pick them up for you. In order to ensure they don't get damaged while I'm storing them for you I'll put them on my plymouth. They'll be very safe there until you come up to MN and pick them up.

No......that's not FMMPAR in Georgia selling.

I think those skirts are very rare.............probably not such a far

out price as it seems.

When it comes to good' date=' rare old car parts, etc., I don't think there is ever a bad time to sell. Seems there is always someone willing to spend the money. Don't forget we have a lot of people in this hobby with more money than they know what to do with, like Jay Leno. Those people also shop ebay. You just need to have one of those looking for that specific item and they'll snap it up. They aren't that worried about a couple of thousand bucks, even if the economy is down the tubes.

If you remember right after 9/11 the economy went down the tubes for at least three or four months. During that time I saw an old ratty, original broken Mopar dealer wall clock go for over $3,000 on ebay. Also saw Superman hood/bicycle ornaments going from $1,000 to $3,000 during the same period.[/quote']

well i don't think so as they did not sell!
