not according to this article for 07. I would think where employees are compensated fairly, have access to competitive benefits, work in safe evironment, feel they havea voice in the company, are diciplined fairly when necessary, feel they have a change for advancement, the organized labor hold no carrot to hold on its stick.

I've toured the Honda plants in Ohio a couple of times and I recall that they aren't union. But as Greg stated, they are compensated fairly and taken care of properly, so no unions are necessary. In fact all employees are called "Associates" and are considered to have a voice in what goes on at the plant.

Go to your local Dodge dealer and look at the window stickers for the country origin of the veicles, the majority are imported from Mexico or Canada. Well I guess those are both American countries. Why are they made there????

I work for a Japanese automobile manufacturer in the US and there is not a union but 90 percent of the people in there don't want a union. It's a great place to work and the money is good and the benefits are amazing

dodges made in mexico.....!! cant believe it.

harley davidson....not too amny years ago HD had a disclaimer upon selling new bikes..the forks(or carbs) were made in japan. the explanation was that there was no american company that would make the forks to the high specs for a decent price....

hd prides in american made parts....even HD has had to farm out a few items due to US companies not being able to produce them in quality for a price...

do you know the origin of the name FAT-BOY ?

Bill,

Some Plymouth's were made in Mexico too since at least 1987. I bought a new Reliant in 87. Had a sticker in the trunk that read, "Assembled in Mexico".
