what genre would 1940's music be? or who are some of the popular band/singers of that time. I would like to tune in a few songs a copy them to paly in my 47 ply.

click on "Channels" for different genre's. 40's might be called "big band"

even though it was much more than that.

Pat..if you click on the channel..it will preview the songs and not play the entire selection..however type in the search and for song or artist, choose from the drop down list and it plays the entire song...

hmmmm... that's funny, when I select a channel it plays one full song after the other. Sometime it seems to take quite a while to load (like 15-20 minutes) but once is starts it just keeps going.

I love the site, I use it for background music while I'm tying flies.
