I second that. I shouldn't say anything, but I don't remember the last time I put air in any of my tires. Tubes just make the tires harder to balance.

Try using an old inner tube for material. It may be too thin, but what the heck, make two layers. I have also seen rolls of cork for poster boards at craft stores, too.

I have a 1" square impression of my watchband burned into my wrist from that big hot connection on the back of a Mopar alternator. Be Careful should be tattooed onto the back of my hands, but even then i probably wouldn't see it.

Greg, the OEM was a plastic disc that did turn yellow and crack apart. I remember my Dads having large pieces missing before he finally just threw them away. That was in the middle 50's. Aftermarkets are painted metal.

Thats a good idea. You may have to turn the radiator support around to get the room, but that does sound good.

Your car is beautiful, as is the scenery. The photography on this site rivals the quality of information. Its great that people here appreciate history to the point that they will share it with the rest of us. I get to see places I couldn't otherwise get to. But still, that car stands out anywhere it goes. -

I think by now I would have tried a different charger. Yours may be overheating and shutting off. Check the clamps for a good bite, too.

Hahahaha, well, ya got me there. I'll just say that the other bends don't look like they would hurt anything. but that last one, an obvious no-no.

I was looking at the parts manual and I don't think its supposed to have that last angle in the narrow part. It looks like someone made an unauthorized field adjustment.

The vent window mounts to the inside garnish molding so there would be no evidence of it on the door itself.
