  1. Amazing. Beautiful. I'll take it!
  2. Thanks, I look at YouTube and see how much nerve I have.
  3. Would a ham-fisted klutz be able to use it successfully? And where would he get it?
  4. WOW, that's beautiful!
  5. I ended up taking the dash light switch apart and cleaning the internal contacts. I didn't change the bulbs but they are very bright. It seems like the dash lights are too bright with the switch in one position, and too dim in the other!
  6. My Dad used to call that kind of thinking, "Common sense".
  7. Welcome back. Always room for more ideas and opinions.
  8. Thanks much! Copying now!
  9. Time for fessin' up. Not my stuff. My son bought out a tool rental place and showed me large stock feeding pans, about 30 gallons each, full of rental tools. These are just some of the duplicates he sorted out. He must have gotten a half ton of metal all together.
  10. That's spectacular!
  11. Does neatness count?
  12. Beautiful.
  13. That's pretty neat, alright. It looks like steam should be coming out from under it !!
  14. Funny, I have ten of those and none of them are in German!
  15. That's really nice. Good picture. Thanks.
  16. That's gotta be cheaper than rechroming a bumper.
  17. What is this vinyl wrap you speak of and where does it come from??
  18. I've been looking for a way to keep a bandage on a slippery finger. This'll do it !
  19. Way too much free time.
  20. The wheels actually turn. Mine do. They wouldn't be round if they weren't supposed to turn.
  21. I like your attitude.
  22. Both of my sons appreciate older cars, mostly because when they got old enough to drive, that's all they could afford. That's also what happened to me. Now they both have old, and older cars that they repair and improve for enjoyment, which really is wee are all doing. Unfortunately, none of my grandchildren live anywhere near me, and my influence is limited, but then, that's their parents responsibility, not mine.
  23. That's a great question. My Plymouth rides much smoother over rr crossings and dips and rises in the pavement than my Buick Lucerne. It doesn't have that quick steering, almost sporty handling of the Buick either. It's ironic in that when I bought that Buick, I wanted the ride of the P15, but nobody makes a car like that now. So, I am forced to drive a 69 year old car to get a good ride. Would I put Aerostar springs on my Plymouth? Not if it's going to make it ride like a Buick. I've already got one of those.
  24. Spose he was texting?
  25. I'm enjoying reading this thread. Fifty some years ago I sold those wrenches at the hardware store calling them "manifold wrenches". I guess it's just what you use them on that gives them their name.
