  1. Didn't go to the Little World's Fair this year, but our annual antique tractor and car show is next month on Sept 17 and 18. Hope you see you there one of those days weather permitting

  6. Here is one with old church. The church dates back to 1848 Just for giggles Greg, that year you came down here via the Frost Valley Rd, once you made the right off of that road, this church was on your left

  11. Thank you for such great photos. I am pleased that you and your car had a good time and safe travels. I have on my bucket list to ride in an Ariflow and even maybe drive one. I too especially liked the photo of the older Gentleman sitting on the running board of his Airflow
  12. The Utica PD have a 1940 Plymouth Police car on display. I have tried to contact them numerous times but never got a reply.. agian if you drive by there again, sure would love some recent photos Thanks so much for taking time to respond. Bob
  13. shel, It is my understanding that that dealership is out of business, what is the building used for now? If you drive by it again, sure would like to see a current photo of it if possible Thanks, Bob
  14. Google the local newspaper, you might find something. I was able to find a video that included a scene of the dealership that sold my 1940 Plymouth new in Utica, NY. These are some stills from that movie clip

  20. In all your travels along Rt 17 did you ever stop at this ice cream stand in Parksville, NY? It has been closed a number of years now due to the road diversion, it is a shame as if was very good soft ice cream

Here is an article that I had published today in our local weekly paper the "Townsman" I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writting it, although in rereading it, I got the location wrong, we are in the northeastern part of Sullivan county, oh well, maybe I can blame it on "Chemo" brain LOL
  23. It is a window defroster, plugs into the cigarette lighter. I don't know how well they worked, but I would imagine better than the defroster did at that time period
