  1. Thinking update brakes to disc, Keep the flatty if it checks out okay. Lower the front a little, bodywork, repaint and reupholster. Drive it for the 3.5 months of warmish weather up here.
  2. Mistyped. 47
  3. My 47 Dodge coupe finally arrived late yesterday. I work nights so I didn't have time to get any photos before I had to go to bed. Worked all morning getting it into the back garage by myself. Doesn't run. It's almost bedtime again. I'll get more photos tomorrow and post them.
  4. A very nice looking car. Mine finally arrives today. Has taken 3 months but was cheap for transporting it 3990 miles
  5. that looks pretty slick
  6. quite the range of merchandise. Nuts/cashews, car parts and hand carved wooden products.
  7. When you mix acetone an Styrofoam together the foam dissolves completely. Looking nice so far. Good luck.
  8. I'm using this guy and he's been very helpful even putting an extra set of doors that I bought later into the load. http://www.quicktransportsolutions.com/truckingcompany/michigan/a-j-tillman-moving-and-storage-usdot-1306977.php
  9. Thanks Bob. I found out that the material cost is $40 he only ships by UPS so that's another $65.
  10. I was asking because I have found a guy with a coupe body with really good panels that he'll cut out for me but he wants $150 each. I realize that he'll have time in it cutting them out. Just hoped I could find some cheaper. Thanks
  11. James I see the patch panels for 47 plymouth but I can't find any for a 47 Dodge in there.
  12. This guy doesn't have enough of this material. Anyone ever seen it before? I can't find it on the web.
  13. I can find new rockers but haven't been able to find any patch panels for the area from the door to the front of the rear fender. Anyone make them?
  14. Chet how much material did your front seat take?
  15. I've found some material that I really like. The problem is there's only 5 yards of 54" wide material left and it's discontinued. Anyone know how many yards it takes to do a seat for a 47 Dodge 3 window? Mine doesn't arrive until the 30th. And I can't seem to find a good photo of a seat to guesstimate it. Might just buy it as it's marked down to $7.99 per.
  16. Chop don't you think those carbs are going to block a lot of your view going down the road? They look neat as heck but how much are they going to hide?
  17. Looks great wdoland. Hope mine looks as good when I get to that point.
  18. We got 8" yesterday. Maybe more today.

  20. I think he's standing outside my door.
  21. I just bought one for my coupe. Paid $300 from an ebay vender that hadn't listed this one yet.
  22. Very nice coupe. I've never liked the 49 BC's but yours has made me change my mind a bit. I like it. I plan on most of those same plans but will leave the 6 volt in mine. It will be here the day after Christmas. Nice present for myself.
  23. I like the front bumper a lot.
  24. My work computer brings it up.
  25. Paul when I open it it's all garbage. Can't read it at all.
