  1. congrats falconvan
  2. some good info and that Plymouth replacement part number lookup is nice. Thanks
  3. Took a 5lb sledgehammer but it finally came off. I was able to get the numbers off the axle seals but there no number on the pinion seal. Anyone know off hand?
  4. resurrection. I have a question. I will ask the folks at AAJ if no one here has an answer. I have an AAJ rear disc kit. Everything bolts right on like it's suppose to. But, when I try and put the caliper on with the brake discs the front disc is too thick to go over and still have the caliper bolt on in the back. I can think of three possibilities, 1. the spacers on the back bracket are too long, 2. the pads are too thick or 3. the rotor isn't going on deep enough. Has anyone had this problem?

  7. nb google the following. antique auto radio repair places all over doing it
  8. If the voices are saying that you aren't crazy I'd stop listening. lol
  9. Not a lot of progress to day. Took the diff out and scraped most of the junk off of it. I'm pretty sure it's been replaced. It has two spots of that "junkyard yellow" paint on it. I have no idea what the extra mounting pad on the passenger side front is for. 3.73:1 ratio.
  10. yes. also one in the middle of the trunk and a 2nd one 8 inches inside the A pillar both sides. It's off. Photo later.
  11. the floor is pretty good. I've also welded in bracing. Most of the rust is the inner rocker panel and the mounts. I'll be sitting the body on a platform made for it while I finish the frame, engine and running gear. I can get the inner panels but I'll most likely have to make the mounts.
  12. had to do a 3rd reply
  13. From front to rear right side
  14. Not much progress. Trying to get the body off. Found 6 bolts/studs on each side. the parts book shows 9 would that be for the sedan? The metal sleeves that the bolts go through seems to have rusted to the mounts. I have the most of the bolts out or at least the nuts off but can't get any movement at all.
  15. http://www.paulschrome.com/index.php/stainless-trim-repair that is for stainless but I'd bet he does aluminum as well.
  16. the wife told me I put an old fart in the coupe when I got in.
  17. thanks Rich and kudoes to Airtex for making it again.
  18. If you mean the engine is stuck I used PB blaster and Marvel Mystery Oil. worked good after sitting for 5 or 6 days.
  19. thanks Ol'skool. I'll order two catalogs. Didn't want to do that based upon his online catalogs.
  20. Guess that's the only way. can't see how he sells many parts with that website.
  21. I could but I still wouldn't be sure that I'd be getting the part that I wanted without seeing a photo of it would I? When you figure shipping two ways from there to Alaska to return something it's something I'd rather be sure of.
  22. To be honest it's just the way they look when the seam is filled in. The whole rearend just flows so well.
  23. I see that the PD has the inner rocker panels that I need for my dodge. I asked about the ends of the floor brace to rocker panel ends, see photo, and the reply was that the plymouth might fit. Looking at his website is an endevor in frustration to me. The catalogs show some parts, no parts numbers and from the email he sent there are lots more parts than the catalogs show. Can you order a catalog from him? I don't see how on the website. A very difficult website to negotiate.
