  1. Anyone have a late 50s Hollanders? Might find it listed
  2. Do a search on the mopar number on partslist.com. The are hard to come by and will probably be on the pricey side.
  3. Looks like the info that was sent in is incorrect. Looking at the lamp chart (you can download it off the downloads page) it looks like you would need to have a no. 63 bulb as stock for the upgrade to work. Maybe the original poster switched sockets? I just checked the numbers in the parts book it doesn't look like it will work. Sorry for the error and will make the correction. (It was the only tip that I personally haven't tried and the only one submitted )
  4. Things are starting to settle down and I hope you are enjoying the new capabilities of the new site!

  5. The other thing you don't see yet it is much easier for me to add and update content. Due to the way the navigation bar was set up on the old site adding a new page tool as long as writing the article. Now it is literally a couple mouse clicks to add a new page.
  6. And thank you for the donation!
  7. Yes, it is next on my list of todos.
  8. I will see if I can find the the parameter to set the type color.
  9. Paypal donate button on the donation page is currently not working. Their are two workarounds for now: When you are on the Site Supporters page, right click on the page and select "Open frame in new window". The donation button will then function normally. Second is go to your Paypal account and donate to gt@tecolotecreek.com. I will be adding a donation option in the store in the near future. Moving forward please use "Website Support" and submit a ticket. It's under the menu "Resources" > "Website Support". Thank you
  10. Taga are like key words based on the subject of post. They are optional. You add them to your post to make it easier to search for later on. They are useful for others searching to find similar topics.
  11. The 6v D24 won't fit in a P15. Probably can get one of the aftermarket kits to work but yo need to go to 12v
  12. Tappet wrench are long and very thin, allowing then to be easily stacked on top of each other. You need to do that to make the adjustment. Plus the length gets back from the exhaust. tappet wrench link at McMaster Carr Pretty sure Sears still has them.
  13. My Hollanders Interchange manual only goes back to '42, but for the '42 model it says no.
  14. They were unpainted. I paint mine with a color called cast iron. Looks unpainted but stops the rust. If yo check either the P15 or D24 Reference page their is a table with info on engine paint info.
  15. I think Antique Auto Cellar also has them.
  16. Good pair of welding gloves with high cuffs, correct tappet wrenches (you need two) and a set of go/nogo gauges for the clearances you need, Also pull the tire and remove the access panel in the wheel well. At least that was you have a straight on view and expect a few burns.
  17. Welcome to the site, hope you find the info helpful and enjoy the gang!
