  2. JIPJOBXX,What do you use that vale for?
  3. That's crazy! Whats gonna happen when he is gone?
  4. I do not understand when you say "advance it one gear tooth" The only gear teeth are on the oil pump. Just make sure your #1 piston is at TDC Then set the distributor in and the rotor should be around the 7 oclock position. If its at the opposite just rotate the rotor 180 to 7 oclock.
  5. If that modern car wasn't behind the maroon vert you would think it is an old picture.
  6. Also It could just be flooded.
  7. Good to know. Thanks:D
  8. You can pull the worm out without disconnecting the cable from the trans?
  9. Just turn the rotor 180 and you will be fine. If you pull the dis and turn the engine you will have to time the engine again. Make sure you use the #1 piston for reference not the #6 if you do pull it and turn the engine.
  10. I decided to find a chandelier that was made to be hardwired. I rather not take a chance just in case.
  11. I put some sealant on both pices that go into the head on my 50. Just some added security for leaks down the road.
  12. Knighthawk,I dont know why you think I do not understand what to do? It is pretty straight forward. The question I had was if it was ok to cut the cord and hardwire it and what the braided line was? Tim does your light have that braided cord up the chain?
  13. Its double the price now!!
  14. Could this be the works of Overhaulin ?????? Even though the car looks like it doesn't need a overhaul.
  15. Yes 49roadster, that is what I have. I have seen hanging lights with a braided wire running from the light to the ceiling up the chain along the cord. Is that a ground? will I need to do that also?
  16. I will use a cover plate that will be mounted to the ceiling and secure the chandelier to it with a chain with the wire running through the chain. It is a very lite chandelier.
  17. Hey Guys, I bought my wife a chandelier that plugs into the wall. Can I cut the plug and hard wire it to the wires from a light in the ceiling? I searched the internet and some say yes and some no. I do not see a problem, how about you guys?
  18. I am sure his son's will keep his boat going. He was a great guy.
  19. If she would have thought this out the Ferrari could have been hers in the divorce LoL.
  20. On my passenger side mirror I had to grind a notch in the mirror case so I can adjust it more to be able to see from the drivers seat.
  21. There you go, I just saw randroid's post
  22. With the price's I have seen for new drums you can prob install discs in the front and rear and still have some $ left over for a full tank of gas. I was able to get a drum from wayfarestranger for a decent price. If you are lucky maybe someone on the forum will have them for you.
  23. I think I got my 4 inch peep mirrors for around $25 on ebay. I like the look of them on top of the door.
  24. That's CRAZY:eek: Three different bidders with 2 days still left. I would go with what Ed posted
  25. Good deal, I am glad it was not the same as Jims you will have her up and running in no time. Don't forget the torque pattern on the head bolts when you install them.
