  1. I remember seeing a pic of a tube that someone made to run the plug wires on this forum. Maybe someone will post it for you.
  2. Bill, I had to go run to the garage and make sure my 50 was still there:D. They look like the same color.
  3. That white sticker on the panel said made in the U.S.A.
  4. Hey guys,I received my left front floor panel from Rock Auto today. I can say I was not 100% happy. When I first got it I noticed that 3 holes for the throttle linkage were not drilled. The Clutch and brake pedal holes were round so the draft seals that I bought yesterday will need to be modified. I also tried to fit the gas pedal linkage(Thanks Ed, I received that today also ) and one of the holes was off so I had to re-drill that. Also the notch for the high beam switch was not there. When I went to fit the panel it would not lay flat so I had to do some forming of the panel for it to fit correctly. Once it was fitted I had to elongate 3 of the screw holes so they would line up. It was a project I did not expect but I guess this is why the price is low. All and all I would recommend this product but be prepared to do some work. Now I just have to paint it . Here are some pics
  5. Shel, do you have a part number for your clear plastic filter?
  6. That's the same stuff that was in my carb. I guess it was from the tank if all of your lines are new.
  7. I have a decent length of flexible hose back by the tank. Can I install a filter there or should it be close to the pump?
  8. If I use a modern inline filter should it be before the pump or after? My pump has a glass bowl with a screen,no filter.
  9. Randroid, If you scroll down I think you will see the other ad's
  10. I do not have it with me but I think it is an AC. I know it has a paper filter.
  11. I took apart my carb to check the float height. In the bowl was alot of debris (Looked like very fine rust colored sand. I am sure it is some rust from the tank). I have one of the glass bowl fuel filters that I am thinking about installing. Do they work well or should I put in a modern inline fuel filter. I took apart the glass bowl filter and I am confused by how they work.It looks like the debris can flow right over the filter into the carb.
  12. I called robertsmotorparts and shipping was $10, they are on order. Shipping is still a little high but oh well.
  13. Yea, I will call tomorrow.
  14. WoW, I went to check out and he wants $15.95 for shipping !!! Back to my first question, anyone?
  15. Great, I didn't realize they were that cheap $9.50 for both. There was a seller on ebay selling them for much more.
  16. Anyone make any? If so what did you use?
  17. I will post a report on the quality and fit when I receive it. Here is a pic of the one I removed.Anyone can have it for shipping if they want to repair it. I took off the mounting plate for the gas pedal so I can reuse it if needed, that would have to be fabricated.
  18. Did you try www.rockauto.com ? They sell sheet metal parts now. Check and see if they supply for your year.
  19. should there be a o-ring on the cap. My cap is plastic with no o-ring. Is this correct?
  20. I ordered the front left floor pan from Rock Auto last night. When I ordered it it said that shipping will most likely be delayed 3 days. I got a email today that it was shipped:D. So far when I deal with rock auto I have no complaints. I also found a 5% discount code:D
