  5. Sounds like you should put in an in-line fuel filter to catch it all before it makes it to the carb.
  6. I bought a bottle of it and it has been sitting on my shelf for over a year. Not sure why I havn't used it yet .
  7. I think the head can warp slightly causing the gasket to fail.

  9. I was able to get a NOS muffler and have new pipes bent to the original bends (they had the original bend cards) from a local shop for around $130 also (single).

  19. Which length horn do you have? The 2 horns are different sizes, I may have one for you depending on which size you need.
  20. Since I bought my 50 Plymouth the trans has been wet with oil and caked with dirt in some places (under Coatney). I finally got around to cleaning it this weekend. I used brake cleaner (I like how you don't have to rinse it off). I sprayed the whole thing down including the linkages and used a little elbow grease. When I was done I went for a drive and was SHOCKED at how smooth it was shifting.

  23. I have read in a few posts that people have used rebuilt flatheads by Jasper . I have done an internet search and could not find any info on a Jasper flathead. Does anyone have some info. I am just curious about pricing,wondering if it makes sence to get a rebuilt 230 to replace my 218 when the time comes.
