I have 1950 Dodge with a 408 ci engine with front and rear independent suspension. I built it for racing at Bonneville. I went 150 mph. I have a 37 humpback that I'm working with now, i'll keep the original suspension. The engine will be a dual carb L6 with a T5 transmission. The rear axle will be updated as well. I want it for a parade runner and not a race car. The L6 will rebuild nicely with a newer transmission. Don't be afraid of either. Just know what you building it for. 48D
