  1. Sad news sir, but I for one am glad that you're sticking around. You're a very good member.
  2. Bob, I'm doing research to find a material that will cut down the heat in the cabin. The photo that you posted ages ago is a dead link. Do you still have the original photo? Thanks, FG.
  3. Alright, so I'm getting a hell of alot of heat from coming through my firewall. This thread hasn't been touched since '09, but so far have you guys been happy with the heat that is cut down? Thanks, FG.
  4. How's about this for weird...I lived in the Richmond District...I had NO IDEA that there was another Mopar guy in the neighborhood. LOL. I still come into the neighborhood as I have friends and family in the Inner. I hope to see that car going down Geary or Fulton someday. FG.
  5. Do you have a photo of your setup? I'm figuring since this all so close it would work in my P15 as well. I'd be interested in seeing photos if you have them. Thanks ahead of time. FG.
  6. Wayne, How long did it take from the time you ordered your build sheet to when you received it in the mail? Just curious because I may be going down this route soon. Thanks, Jon
  7. The paint color has to be lighter. I've been traveling down the road in this thing in the SoCal sun in a black car. I'm done. I'd like a lighter color car, it will be a bit easier. That and the black primer is just plain fugly. I was originally going for a goldish/tan but...I'm going to look at all my options and make a decision by next month. I need to think about interior too.
  8. Plymouthy, lovely now I REALLY don't want a light green. I'm thinking of going another direction now as the green in any shade isn't 'sending me'. Thanks guys for the input, it's totally appreciated. FG.
  9. BTW, I really really like your decorations. Man after my own heart. I need to hang some things on the wall. You just gave me an idea. FG.
  10. I'd really like to find someone that has done this. I think it could look good. I saw this color on a 60s Mercury once. The color is on the bottom left hand side of the color chart. I believe that I am going to go for it. As you can see Balfour green is totally different.
  11. And this is exactly why I have painted my wheels like that.
  12. Actually, I used the native OS for that. Hold down the iPad key and the power button together and it takes a screenshot.
  13. Apologies for the screenshot but I was browsing from an iPad...
  14. Folks, Has anyone seen a car with this paint scheme before? http://www.flickr.com/photos/autohistorian/4722642603/in/photostream/ Of course that is an artists rendering from the Plymouth Sales collateral. But I would very much like to see it in photo. It is a Gold Poly and I have always liked this color. I already googled and binged and searched here. I am resarching colors for my car as we are going to have it painted before summer. I want to go with a lighter color due to how hot it gets here in SoCal. Thank you ahead of time. FG.
  15. I just went through all of these. Loved it. Thanks again.
  16. Pflaming, are you Norcal or Socal?
  17. Folks, Where did you folks get your front coil springs? I've been price matching in between Bernbaum, RMP and Kanter's. I'd like to know where else I should look. And I contacted ESPO. Thanks, FG.
  18. Great, I'm going to buy my Steering Knuckle Support from them. Thanks. FG.
  19. MegaUpload was a site that people used to upload lots of data. There wasn't anyone upset by the PDF itself, but rather the other types of content on it. Examples, people were misusing a site like MegaUpload to upload whole copyrighted recent movies, illegally distributed software (I worked for one of those software companies that was victim.) and the like. The US government shutdown Megaupload some time ago. Again, the PDF was not the issue. I still have the PDF that I made of my book. Also, there is a site that someone else posted on this message board that had all the same content. FG.
  20. Folks, Has anyone bought parts from CarPartsDiscount.com before? They seem to have P15 parts. https://www.carpartsdiscount.com/auto/parts/47/plymouth/p15_special_deluxe/parts.html?sub=Base&eng=Any+Engine I need to pick up 2 Steering Support Knuckles as my drivers side gave way while driving. Horrible. Thanks, FG.
  21. Merle and OG, thank you. FG..
  22. Gents, Today I bought a Battery Tender Jr for the Plym. i have disconnected the positive terminal, but not the negative one. The Tender is alligator clipped on. Is this a bad thing? Should both the positive and negative leads to the car be disconnected while the tender is charging? Bought this because the battery neeeded charging and was too low to start the car. Thanks ahead gents, FG.
  23. Got the parts today. Thanks again folks. FG.
  24. Take care sir. FG.
  25. Don, I just wanted to see what other folks' experience was. And now that I know, thank you guys. I'll just wait on him to send the parts. I just wanted to make sure that he was the honest fellow that I felt him to be. I wasn't asking for anyone to answer for George. FG.
