  1. I'm fighting something myself, but I think I'll be well enough to rally tomorrow. Jon
  2. Alright Gents!!!! Following up with you to remind you that we are meeting at Jeff's Woodworking Shop in Irvine at 9am. Don Jordan and I are getting together at 7:30am to caravan there. Tony is meeting us at Jeff's. And it sounds like some of you folks are meeting at 605/405 to caravan. See you guys at Jeff's! Jon
  3. Don, I'll personally make sure I take a bunch of photos and post them to a Photobucket for you and the others to see! Thanks, Jon
  4. I have spoken with Tony G and Don J and we are definitely going to be there! My Plymouth is on the road and running before she goes in for paint and interior in February. So I'll be there with my old girl. Don and I are caravanning. See you guys there! Jon
  5. God, thank you from one San Franciscan to another. I have been under the blinking car recently and have been looking for that. I hadn't found it and now I know exactly where to look! Jon
  6. Folks, I have been in communications about my car's Sun Visor and fender skirts with the folks over at Agape. They have sunvisors and for a pretty reasonable price as well. http://agapeautoparts.com/products/products.htm Thanks, FG.
  7. Folks, I finally got my old girl back after having the car being gone for most of December. The Oil Pan and Rear Main Seal gaskets were completely changed, and everything tightened up and silicone put in all crevices just to make sure. I drove her home and noticed on the my stark white driveway...oil leaking. Now, what I DID notice a couple of days ago was that if I looked closely, there was a small crack/sliver in the inspection plate that is NOT on the oil pan. Has anyone seen this before and is this little sliver NORMAL? I highly doubt it but I thought I'd ask. We are going to get her on the jack tomorrow, but I wanted to see if you guys have photos of your inspection plate/pan and if this is there on your car. Thanks, FG
  8. Don, It was great meeting you. It totally slipped my mind that I have your brake information. The thread was original thread from 2014 that I hijacked in 2015. There is a meet at Jeff's place in Irvine on January 17th, 2016. Now that my car is functional and the mounts are all there and happy again (breaking news, this happened today)...I will be going in my P15. If you want to meet in Pasadena and we could caravan and meet the other guys, I'd be more than happy to caravan with you. If you need any details, you have my number. Happy New Year All! Jon
  9. Gents, You have been so wonderful to help me. So, my plight with the body mounts is now...OVER! I had new ones built. Ones that are amazingly sturdy and do not feel like a Coke or Pepsi can. I present to you the change from what was cut out, to the new. Old: New: And whilst he was down there, he is replacing the body rubber and has already replaced the motor mounts. She's going to be a new girl. Also, a girl with a new Rear Main Seal, Oil Pan Gaskets and new oil. In other words...my new girl. However, of course as if to stick her tongue at me, I shut the drivers side door...and the window crank handle popped off. The pin has gone missing. I need to find those. (Mopar 724747) Thanks guys! Happy New Year! FG.
  10. Welcome to the site GroupHare!!! If you need anything, just let us kow. Remember, using the search function for questions is helpful, and so are just reaching out to some of us and picking our brain. Congrats on your new find! I have a 1947 Club Coupe and if you want to ask me about how my journey has been with my car, feel free to PM me. Happy New Year and again Congrats! FG.
  11. Saw the video on FB! Merry Christmas to you guys in Neversink! FG.
  12. You know, I thought the same thing too. I passed this by two brake guys that they both said ... in non polite terms that the 'automatic' verbiage is malarchy. I'd love to see what some of the other P15 folks think too. I'm glad you brought it up because it concerned me. I'm not sure who is right about this or wrong. I could, however call the vendor tomorrow and ask if that was a typo of some sort. FG.
  13. God I am so envious of all of you folks. My car is still on the rack. FG.
  14. Actually I found it in an older thread. There is a paper out there on the procedure as well. http://www.butchscoolstuff.com/42-53-plymouth-41-53-dodge-frame-mounted-brake-pedal-kit-2475bc/ I am buying it after the Christmas season (ran out of bread...) and then having it put in. FG.
  15. Cripes I wish I had one of those. FG.
  16. Yeppers Bingster and Don are both correct. He does it and only if you send the drums to him. Good guy Jeff @ Moose Motors in Penngrove, CA. Call him on Monday.
  17. BTW, also Jeff at Moose Motors takes care of my pads. I send them to him, he puts the asbestos pads on them and then they're back on the car. However, the word asbestos in California as you know is verboten.
  18. That would be unfortunate. I'll walk under the car when it is on the lift and examine the OD that isn't in and the tranny that is under. I just assumed that they were all the same. Good call sir. FG.
  19. One more thing I found in my travels was the following. I wondered where the dickens the light hooked up to switch wise. FG.
  20. No, I had no idea. It looks like he fabricated those pieces on the A pillar. I think that is what my guys might have to do... sigh. FG.
  21. Mr. Adams, Unfortunately I was one of those poor souls that learned this stuff by going from shop to shop, having conversations with folks and such. Blew my mind how long it took to gather up the list of vendors. And 3 1/2 years after the fact, I finally found the dual MC that I was looking for that bolts right into the P15. Yeah, Don, I'll help you. Just like in the spirit of Dezeldoc helping me four or five years ago. Gosh, wish we could find that guy. FG.
  22. Don, I have all my brake vendors in the LA area and what I did to my car with the parts, shoes, the whole nine yards if you'd like for me to show you during that drive on the 31st. Either that or I can just call you. Let me know. FG.
  23. Bad news. These were NOT the parts. No one has them. Plymouth Doctor sent me the parts but they weren't what I needed. Wayne said that no one makes these parts as the casting die would be too cost prohibitive. My metal guy has started fabricating the parts today. Sigh. Oh well, can't beat a guy for trying.
  24. And in case anyone else was wondering, here is the information that he was looking for. The CB14094 is a Chrysler number. And it looks like the second screenshot. I have one that I'm putting in my car. It is in my parts archive. FG.
