It's 394 miles one way. I'm in northwest new mexico.

If you use 4x4 's cross pieces the fenders will be 2 inchs to high to bolt to the running boards. The bed bolts together like a big puzzle and every thing has it's place.

I remember something about repolarizing your system. With the key on ground your field out for a second then try it again.Try running it with your lites on. See if it charges with more amps. god luck hank

here is a trick to get oil out of your radiator once you find the problem. Put clear water in the radiator once you get the water warm by running the engine add auto matic dish washer detergent ( gel works best) . Run it for a lon g time then drain and add anti freeze. The auto dish detergent is castic soda based so it doesn't foam up. It will get rid of any oil in the water. This works real good in diesel engines with leaky oil coolers. just a tip.

I'd use it for a boat anchor before i'd put it ina ford.

An old truck is like an old dog. It's supposta live a mark everywhere it's been. Loosen them pan bolts pry it down carefully. Clean it with some carb cleaner and squirt some silicone in there. Maybe it'll slow the leak.

I have been doing the same thing in New Mexico. !. you have to send a form to Santa Fe and they check and see if it is on record somewhere. 2.you run it threw NCIC with the seriff to see that it ain't stolen 3. You send a registered letter to the last owners address with return recipt requested. (Send it to a friend and tell them to not sign for it) then you use the reciept to prove you tryed. 4. I take the truck to the DMV for a vin inspection. They have to check the vin numbers and make sure it is ok. 5. get a sureity bond usually costs me about 50$. Call the guy you have your car insurance with and ask. Different places charge different so. Take it to the DMV and if they're in the right mood you get a title. Do it all in state or they will make you get a title in that other state. I hope this mite help someone. In NM you can go online and print out the forms you need. If you run into a minor snag sometimes I'll run over the hill to the next towns DMV and they will have a whole different look on the same thing. good luck

We have shrunk pin with liquid propane. You can do it with an older bottle. Turn it up side down. But be care ful.

If your going to take your glass out and take it to a shop. Make a set of traceing for the rest of the people here. Some mite need some patterns. Just an idea.

That's flat glass and a local glass shop could cut it for cheap. It cost me less than 50.00 for my windshield glass. I installed them myself. Call a local shop a get an estimate. They sell it by the square foot. good luck

Hank when you take that carb apart don't loose the steel check balls. One is below the excellorator pump and undernthe brass plug next to it. I'm trying to rebuild one that someone lost both.

i got 2 different size balls at da hardware store. i hope one will fit.
