  3. Well.... the nurse came in today and told her our worst fears.... chemo (if she chose it) wasn't going to work and gave her a few months. The only other option she has (if she's accepted) is to go to Dr Burzynski's clinic in Houston, Texas for some injections of antineoplastons. It's supposed to kill cancer cells. Some people think it'd BS but I've checked out the website and it looks like an option that wasn't there before. Thanks again to PatS for turning me on to the website and video. That's it for now. Thanks for being patient with this rambling. Tom

  8. Well.... the doctor sent his partner in to tell us to take it one day at a time. To tell you the truth, I still didn't a straight answer. One says imminent surgery and another says there's no surgury. I haven't got to the bottom of it yet, but I'm gonna find out hell or high water. Tom
  9. Never seen these. Thanks for posting! Tom
  10. Came out nice, Tim. Tom
  11. Wow, it's almost hard to keep a stiff upper lip while listening to all the kind words. Well.....the intern came in earlier and said he saw the results of the biopsy.....squamous cell carcinoma.... Some sort of skin cancer. He said the main doctor is coming in first thing in the morning to tell her the plan of attack. That's all the intern would say. She's already had her fill of radiation 3 years ago. She can't have anymore. All that's left is chemo again or a big operation. But we'll find out in the morning. So... here we go.... Thanks again guys, Tom

  21. A sincere thanks to all of you guys!! I just got home about a half hour ago and they decided to do the biopsy today. So now we have to wait a day or two 'cause they sent it out. The people at the hospital are really great and we are all making her as comfortable as possible. Of course lately the pickins were getting slim as far as the student count for the real estate school. As soon as she goes in the phone's been ringing off the hook. And it's overwelming me. So her daughter and son-in-law are gonna help me with all the calls. So with that I'm gonna hit the sack and get ready for tomorrow. So thanks again and I'll update later. Tom
  22. Hi guys, A few days ago I had to admit my girlfriend Terri to Holmes Regional Hospital in Melbourne, Fl because of complications from radiation treatment she had to cure cervical cancer she had three years ago. I thought I'd ask you guys to do me a favor and keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She going to have a biopsy done of several organs tomorrow morning. I'll try to update. As we speak I'm on my way back to the hospital which is five miles from here. Thank you so much, Tom
