  1. :DHey guys, Is there anybody out there that might have a back window inside molding for a 41 Plymouth P-12 four door? The bottom of mine rusted away from a seal leak. When I put the new seal in I'm gonna need that molding. I've got Lindsay McConnell looking in his warehouse also. Help much appreciated!! Tom
  2. Greg, The right side of the radiator ,of course is where the cap goes. Then there's the one on top in the middle with a vent tube. Two vents? Tom BTW, Thanks for the coolant info. My coolant level is about an inch from the top. Looks like I'm draining some.
  3. :DThans for the info Greg! When I open the cap I can see the coolant rushing. The overflow is clear. In the middle on top is a inverted cup intregal with the radiator with a vent line running across and down the side. Does that vent back into itself? Tom Btw, The fan belt is new and adjusted with 1/2 inch deflection. Too bad there isn't a shroud for these radiators.
  4. Hi Bill, To answer your questions: Obviously I've got to change my cap. It's a 4 lb cap. The thermo was put in before I got it. It heats up more when I'm sitting at a red light in 85 degree heat. Like I told Don, it's got a cap shaped dome on top in the middle of the radiator with a vent line running across and down the side. It's the original radiator. Tom
  5. Hey Don, I've got to wait till I get home tonight to take a picture. BTW, the top of the radiator has a round cup in the center with a vent line that runs across and down the side. It's the original radiator.
  6. :DThanks Cpt Fred
  7. Could a bad water distribution tube cause pressure? Tom
  8. No water in the oil. The engine runs really well. Good power. Tom
  9. Maybe somebody can help me out here. I can take my P-12 out for a good run and after a little while it starts to run in the 200 degree range. Plus when I twist off the radiator cap I've got pressure. This is a non-pressure system right? Could my water distribution tube be plugged up? Puzzled??? Tom
  10. :DThanks Pete, I'll check it out. Tom
  11. :DHey guys, I posted this on the technical thread site but I don't know if anybody saw it. I bought an NOS vacuum wiper motor about a year ago. When the motor is parked the wipers are in the up position. The wipers are supposed to be in the down position. What's up with that? Any info is much appreciated. Tom
  12. :DHey guys, I've got a question. Last year I bought an NOS vacuum wiper motor for my '41 and for some reason it parks in the up position. The wipers are supposed to be in the down position. What's up with that? Any info is much appreciated. Tom

  15. I've been running through this site for awhile now and I really like it. Tom
  16. Thanks dirtydan for the welcome. I've been driving Mopars since the early 70's. Mostly Dodge Chargers(10 of the them) My parent's had a 41 Plymouth back in 1950. A dark blue one. Mine's a mellow yellow color. It still has the original drivetrain in it. As soon as I figure out how to upload a couple of pics I will. Tom
  17. Hi everybody. I live in Melbourne, Florida and currently own a 1941 P-12 four door sedan. I know it's not a late 40's model, but I figured there is a lot of common stuff on these cars.I've had it almost 2 years. I've been working on it myself. Just thought i'd drop in and say howdy. Tom
