  1. Okay so I retract my previous comment, other than the fact that they look cool, Each Stat-O-Seal has a Buna-N inner seal bonded to the center of the aluminum washer. The Buna-N rubber is resistant to water, oil, and petroleum fuels (not for use with brake fluid).
  2. You're a visionary, I could trailer my project out there and just pick it up next year when it's complete! LOL
  3. Nice tip, I may just get some of those and put them in, just because I can. They look really cool. Much better than plain old copper.
  4. The more I look at it, I think the next time I have a bunch of Kubota Hood decals printed I'm going to have a black with white lettering insert printed that way I can just put a decal in there and keep the Integrity of it being NOS. Just a small black circular insert / decal and a better match to all the original knobs.
  5. I wonder if that's the black version, it came Chrome, Black and Ivory. I was kind of wishing it was black to match all the other knobs. And I may paint it black with white lettering. Not sure yet.
  6. Ha, thats OK, quit smoking years ago, for show only!
  7. Have already been working on a mount for it, both sides of the dash are drilled the same for the ash tray Took a couple of pieces of steel stock and brazed together Mimics the ash tray and will be mounted on the passenger side Bent to 90° and brazed in two mounting studs Now that I have the cigar lighter, I know what size hole to drill More to come
  8. Received a (surprise) UPS delivery this Saturday, first ever on a Weekend. NOS Cigar Lighter to compliment my not so new Ash Tray. It is the correct part number from the parts book, although it is Canadian, should still work with a US battery! ?
  9. NOS Cigar Lighter (Canadian)
  10. I was also surprised to not see it there and only in the accessories section. And yep, I guess you don't need a hero LOL
  11. I put the new RR wheel cylinder in today, checked and double checked everything. Made an adapter to attach my Hydrolastic Suspension pump to the brake system Pressurized it up to 425 pounds Wahoo, all wheels lock up no leaks at any cylinder, a slight leak at the front tee where I put a temporary line at the point the master cylinder to tee line would be. I will deal with that once the master cylinder is in and I have the correct line, may nee a new tee.
  12. My parts books only go back to 1941, but the WC, WD15, WD20-21, WFM, WF30-32 31-33 34-36, WF39, WHM, WFMX and WFX all had a dome light, part number 142 304, not sure if standard or optional equipment. My Hollander manuals do not list much if any electrical components, Sorry, not much help.
  13. While you may have fittered all this out, I'll add these for whomever may stumble on this post in the future. Turn Signal Wiring on The Jeep CJ3B Page_files Foxton Turn Signal Signal Stat Wiring (not sure where this is from or accuracy)
  14. OOOPs, There I go Again. LOL
  15. This hole? That is the resistor for variable speeds, gets hot under load if it is still intact.
  16. Have not done one of these but from British carts, LOTS of soapy water, STRONG pull cord and TWO people. Wish I was that close!
  17. I have always put them here; Classifieds
  18. Thank you all, that's kind of what I thought but I wanted to be sure before I plugged it, cuz I'm not running VA.
  19. I can not find this anywhere, where does this outlet on the throttle body connect to? I found some views on a video from @48Dodger but there is no shot of the other side of the engine. Vacuum Advance possibly, which I do not have?
  20. Here is a thread from earlier this year that may help; Fuel gauge difficulties
  21. Very cool, I agree don't ever throw anything like that away, that's history right there. Here's a possible controller for it on eBay right now, just a quick search while I'm eating supper.

  23. Been looking for a new heater water valve, the original 'round' style is ridiculously priced, last one I saw went for over $500, not do'in that. Around $300 for the superseded model, still pricey. Got lucky and found one for $75, got it today, seals real good, could not find parts for the inaccurate one I had, so much better option. Looks like some one put a 'pop rivet' where a solid one should be, easy fix.
  24. Transversely mounted straight four with SU carbs, Mini Cooper? EDIT, oops, just scrolled up and got my answer!
