blue p15 Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 Does anyone have access to a color chart that shows pinstripe colors for 1936 P2? Quote
TodFitch Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 See https://www.ply33.com/Models/P2/#paintcodes Unfortunately I don't have IM codes for the pinstripes, only the color names. 1 Quote
SteveR Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 I know the Ford Model As were all had pinstriped but where the 36 or 37 Plymouth Cars pinstriped? Quote
TodFitch Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 Details like pinstripe location are not as well documented for Plymouth as it is for cars like the Mode A Ford. I barely know where the pinstriping should be on my '33 and enough to know that it depends on body type. While I have seen a '37 that was done, I think, correctly I don't recall the details at all. And the '36 could be different. The best bet would be to contact the Plymouth Owners Club's technical adviser for the model year. Quote
9 foot box Posted February 8, 2024 Report Posted February 8, 2024 I think that what is on the ply33 site is correct for the wheel stripe. It’s up to the owner to determine the placement and color for their car. There is a site called the Striper by Finesse that offers a number of pinstripe stencils. If I was to go through with my idea, I would do it that way. I only want a thin stripe that I couldn’t do free hand. 1 Quote
Booger Posted February 9, 2024 Report Posted February 9, 2024 (edited) Rim strip is good. 2 of my P18s had a very sweet double pin under windows following curves of fenders. Red on grey And black on tan. They were painted I think Booger would like white on green Edited February 9, 2024 by Booger Spel Quote
