Even before asking this question you should have access to a parts book. The parts book wil show what parts and the part numbers that will work on both types of doors.

The next question is what particular 1940 car need to know that before anyone does any research for you.  You list a project car as a 49 fargo.

maybe he asked because he DOES NOT have access to a parts manual and hoping some sole on here does and could help with a confirmation...but yes, make and model should be noted in the request....I know I had to send my crystal ball back to Romania for calibration as the apparitions were getting cloudy of late

So my bad. 1940, Plymouth, P10, convertible. The doors I'm looking at are advertised as 1940 Plymouth coupe. No model listed.

I've had the car about a month. So no haven't acquired a parts manual yet.

The vent window is completely different, and so are the window channel. Now the window mechanism I believe is the same along with the locks.

Good Luck...
