I just wonder if a person took on the project ... how many would buy it?  .... Just saying I bought a homemade condenser  It is kick ass!

I just cant see love for a home built Voltage regulator. .... Could be done, is there a market for it?

Just throwing it out there. .... I see it as a struggle to keep your car original 6 volt ... & good for you.

Or swap it to 12 volt & get on with your daily chores.

I had a problem with my generator. It wasnt charging well and then not at all. Turned out the brushes were simply sticking in the holders. Sanded them down smaller, cleaned the com and it's perfect. Anyone can slap on modern equipment, keeping the original 6 volt system is cooler.

Having bright headlights and a battery that always stays topped up with no charging system maintenance is REALLY cool. ?

Hey Sam Buchanan not to change the topic but in your picture where did you get the modern oil filter housing instead of the canister type oil filter?

And having those things with factory equipment is even cooler. If your headlights are dim, you probably have a problem.

Yep - Big cables, a really good 6 volt battery and a 6 volt positive ground alternator solved the power problems on the 47 P15.  People don't notice the alternator - that looks normal to most people.  But some do comment on the big cables.
