I know its been discussed before what is the groups thoughts on which plugs are you using  Champion 841 or Autolite 295 or ???

My mechanic who has been working on these engines for 60 years had me get Champion CHA 844.  You can get them at NAPA.  They are OEM style copper core.

you can get the autolite 295 at your local Walmart store. These are small engine plugs and the cost around $1.90 each.  And when you go on Ebay you see them list at a much higher cost plus the shipping.  Yes these are chromed on the base but who really cares so long as they run smoothly in your car.  Most cars are drivers and very few are Show cars or being point judged like an AACA car show.

 

I have also seen 297 Autolite plugs which are a replacement plug for the Autolite A9 plug but these have only been on ebay.

AC 45r set at .035.  45000 miles on same set, still look and operate as new.  New Champions are junque.
