What type of fitting do I use on the fuel inlet of my carburetor? I have tried a few different brake line fittings without luck . What size line should I be using ?                                 Thanks

I use the 5/16” tubing. 
I believe The fitting you have is supposed to be threaded into the filter

if you don’t have or want to use a different filter set up, the carb kits come with a female fitting

or try Napa ?


I use inverted flared tube nut for 5/16” tube 1/2x20 thread from the pump to the filter

That appears to be 1/8” npt . From that you can adapt to 1/4 or 5/16” inverted flare for your steel line.
