LMBoise Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 Has anyone used these decals offered by DCM Classics? I am doing some work on the instrument cluster and the faces need a lot of help. I am assuming these are just decals and go over the face of the plate. I am curious how well they stick and how they look once installed. Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 are these listed as peel and stick or water slide transfers? I would think if water slide these would be awesome but your end results will be a direct reflection of your underlying body and paint work. Quote
LMBoise Posted January 11, 2022 Author Report Posted January 11, 2022 They do not say. I was hoping someone else has tried them. I may just give the vendor a call. thanks Quote
JBNeal Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 FYI those are decals for the '51-'53 gauges: '48-'50 speedo is different; amp gauge 35 not 50 amps. 1 Quote
B1B Keven Posted January 12, 2022 Report Posted January 12, 2022 With the center of the speedo face missing, you will see the edge of the material. What are the faces printed on? Vinyl or paper or ? Quote
LMBoise Posted January 12, 2022 Author Report Posted January 12, 2022 I am not sure if they are paper or vinyl. I am calling them today. Thanks for the heads up on the amps, I did not catch that. Quote

They are B3 / B4 gauge faces based on the font and the fact that the Amp and Oil gauges have the needles coming down from the top. 50-0-50 Ammeter gauge started in '50 on the B2 series. Quote
